Nahr Beirut Bridge

A Conceptual project proposing a bicycle-Pedestrian bridge over the famous Nahr Beirut. Inspired by the graphic of La Fievre d'urbicande, by the Belgian comic artists Francois Schuiten and Benoit Peeters, it was thought to invent a structure that fit the particularity of the site. Hense it was a to create the whole project as a structure, floating all over the place. The structural unit is a steel cross of dimensions 3mmx3mm as cross section and 80 cm in length, the two bars are welded orthoganally to create the units that created the space.
